Erciyes Medical Journal is an official publication of Erciyes University Medical Faculty. The first issue was published in 1978. EMJ which is a refereed journal is regularly published four times per year (March, June, September, and December). The publication language of EMJ is English and Turkish.
EMJ welcomes clinical and experimental research performed in various areas of medicine, interesting and rare case reports, letters to the editors, and specific review articles written upon invitation. The research and case reports written on medical issues showing local frequency and peculiarity are given priority. Reports on national and international meetings and / or symposiums in the medical field as well as scientific communications between authors and readers are published in the journal.
Erciyes Medical Journal conforms to all recommendations for the steps of the process from submission to publication as addressed on the web site of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors www.icmje.org
EAll subscribers can access the online journal contents found at www.erciyestipdergisi.org for free. They also do not pay a publication fee unless they desire color prints. The yearly subscription fee has been set at 30 YTL for 2008.
